I used ChatGPT to make myself a daily plan as to what to use in the night time, but my morning routine is static.
Here’s my weekly routine (active ingredients are titles): 1st night is tretinoin. 2nd night is ghk-cu+derma stamp. 3rd night is a rest night(not applying any products), as I have had trouble with dry, red, inflamed skin due to overuse of products in the past.
For reference, the nightly routines vary (for the most part) only in the active ingredient or as I call them “acne destroyers” though it is very dependent on the scenario.
Here’s the in depth guide on the 1st night, the tretinoin night. Double cleanse with any cleanser that only cleans the skin, not penetrates the skin barrier. This is what I use
If you have oily skin, cleanse twice. If not, only once and you should be fine.
Next, I use tretinoin
Toothbrush for size reference
Afterwards, I use lotion specifically attuned for facial use to moisturize as both tretinoin and the cleanser tends to dry out my skin.
For ghk-cu nights(second night), this is what I do. The framework of the routine is the exact same, as the first step(cleansing once or double) and last step(lotion/moisturizing) are the exact same as seen in the first night.
The Derma Stamp + Ghk-cu guide
First, take off your derma stamp cap and apply a uniform amount of isopropyl alcohol to the surface of the derma stamp.
While this is happening, I suggest running hot water and doing your cleansing routine. After 10-15mins of soaking in the isopropyl, run your derma stamp under warm water. What I do to dry my stamp off, is I layer toilet paper by whatever I feel is necessary to not feel the tiny needles that might be sticking out, and I put the stamp on the toilet paper for however long I see fit, and I do the process over until the stamp is dried. Something to look out for when removing the stamp from the toilet paper is how you do it. Removing the stamp with the needles protruding even a little with the stamp not being removed straight out can lead to toilet paper getting stuck to the needles which is a massive pain in the ass to get out. Now that your stamp is ready, set it to 0.5 (should look like this)
After it is set, hold it everywhere on your face excluding obvious places like your nose eyes or lips for about 3 seconds each location. Afterwards, use one drop per hemisphere of your face( I classify them as r/l right or left cheek and forehead). Don’t rub it in, PRESS it in. For me, it almost sounds like very quiet popping noises. After that, let it dry and then apply your lotion/moisturizer, and you’re done.
Rest night is self explanatory, if you don’t have any problem risking overuse of products do another night of the tretinoin routine.
For the morning, I only do one routine and it does not change. Every morning I cleanse, lotion, and sunscreen(50spf recommended, anything above 30-35 is fine)
