My theory for the rise of male sexlessness and simps

IMO, most of it can be attributed to women's social and economic liberation in society.

1) Back in the day, women had no access to education or jobs and had to rely on men for their economic well-being. They would settle down with men they didn't necessarily like to assure their safety. Now they have access to both education and jobs (and with diversity quotas are valued in the job market). They can generate income for themselves and do not need to enter relationships with men they don't like being around or aren't attracted to. This has worked against many average looking or ordinary men as women are naturally attracted to high quality good looking men (which are sparse).

2) Online dating has made it very easy for women to find high quality men. Chads are rare in day to day life. You won't see a lot of them walking around town or in your local bars. Before, women settled or hooked up with lesser men out of convenience and pragmatism. Now, 6'5" rich chad is 30 left swipes away and easy to access. This is great for Chad who can get all the women while lesser men stay dry and women get pumped and dumped (it's not great for them either, and the only winner is Chad)

3) Modern feminism has demonized men and turned some women away from men. This has shrunk the dating pool.

4) Feminism has also attacked the idea of the nuclear family and incited many women to turn away from relationships and commitment towards promiscuity. For the most part, average men entice women into having sex with them by promising security and commitment in return. Since many women now chose to be promiscuous the main criteria they look for in a short term mate is sexual attractiveness, leading to a concentration of women around good looking men.

5) The prevalence of female bisexuality means men also have to compete with other women for women. Add feminism to that and some bisexual women choose to turn away from men. this has shrunk the dating pool. This is probably more minor but also has an impact.

All of these factors have led to sexlessness and loneliness for lower quality or even average and slightly above average men. These men have thus resorted to simping / paying / begging for sex and affection, which has further inflated women's egos and self-worth, making the problem worse.

I think all of this is catastrophic for both men and women. No one will be happy from this arrangement except maybe Chad.

What can men do? Self-improve. That's why more men are gymming, looksmaxxing, skin-care maxxing, getting surgery, trying to get rich etc etc etc.

I agree, women have always been like this. It's their evolutionary strategy given the cost of bearing a child. Is it really ideal for Chad and women though? I have no clue. You can already see a reaction towards it with men hitting the gym, money-maxxing, turning to figures like Andrew Tate. Arguably some men have reacted to this new shift by upping their game and others by rotting on OnlyFans or at strip clubs (classic rotters vs maxxers dichotomy) and a select few going beserk.

I think this dynamic has probably existed throughout history but is resurging now. High quality men have always commanded more attention from women but with women's sexual, economic, and social liberation the trend has gotten worse. I don't see this reversing unless society starts oppressing women again (which I don't recommend JFL).

We can keep men subdued with OF, porn, video games and other BS. If I were a politician I would legalize escorts to allow men to blow off some sexual and romantic steam like in the Netherlands.

One thing I think could happen is women realizing that what they're doing isn't helpful to themselves at all. Modern women just have overly high standards and over-value themselves in the romantic marketplace. While the demand is lopsided in the sexual marketplace, it should be somewhat equal in the LTR romantic marketplace. Women shouldn't have an upper hand in the latter. Women learn the hard way that Chad will fuck you but not commit to you then maybe they settle after years of disappointment with someone more their level. If a Jordan Peterson-esque figure for women can create a sub-culture that can warn women of this treacherous path maybe they will change their behavior but right now there's too much female empowerment bullshit going on but a lot of single women hit 30 and get depressed because they are still single, can't find a man that "meets their standards" with a ticking biological clock.
