I thought its because of massater muscles..maybe he chew a lot in puberty,hah

Overdeveloped masseters. Most of that jaw width comes from the masseter muscle and not from the jaw bone.
Olivia Wilde is a great example, she still has a good palate and jaw but her masseters are overdeveloped in comparison

By comparison, Margot Robbie has a wider palate but a narrower jaw, because her jaw and maxilla are actually wider, but her masseters are proportionate

Very clear in the first pic that he had much weaker masseters (and was less bloated) when he was younger, jaw looks much more normal in relation to his palate.
