No one has 34mm+ PFL, so why is the ideal ICD 33-34mm?

Like seriously, 34mm PFL is like 99th percentile that only some models have

Average PFL is like 28mm, chico has 29mm for example

So that means the one eye apart will fail automatically if you have 34mm ICD and 29mm PFL

average doesnt mean ideal.
Do you see people with ideal faces daily?

and that 1 eye spacing apart is some made-up pseudoscience shi, it serves no purpose besides in severly deformed patients.

what you need for the eye-level-axis is only the eye width + eye-seperation-ratio, aswell as surrounding landmarks that can give an illusion of a closer/further apart ESR like lower-lid flaxity, medial canthus, lateral canthus, midface, ear projection, nasal width, mouth width, hair projection, eye aspect ratio etc.

Yeah but apparently ideal range for one eye apart is 0.93-1.08x times ur ICD

So basically if ur PFL is 30mm then icd should also be 30mm but then ur ipd is also gonna be low

Doesnt IPD and ICD go hand in hand?

For some reason in my case it doesnt…

I have 32mm ICD but 62mm IPD, when other people have much less ICD than me but more IPD

answered your own question/statement.
hence why ICD is "useless" for most people

Doesnt IPD and ICD go hand in hand?
no, IPD is a "fixed" measurement done by using the pupils and the bizygomatic breadth, whilst ICD is measured from shortest distance between the eyes AKA the medial canthus which has a different "depth" for everyone.

not sure if youre gonna get what ill say since most people dont get it- but this just goes to show how flawed the facial harmony theory is that we currently use, we dont even take in consideration that if one of our ratio's/measurements is unideal it would lead to other ratio's/measurements also being unideal.

but the biggest problem with our harmony formulas is the fact that if one measurement for example your IPD being on the shorter side then you would want a shorter midface compared to our "ideal" according to our formula to re-proportion the facial balance.

I mean its not rlly useless bc if i showed u a pic of an asian with too big icd and low pfl it would look off

ratio's/measurements is unideal it would lead to other ratio's/measurements also being unideal.
Ofc i understand this, low end ipd also causes my midface ratio to be 0.97, 0.97 is still ideal ofc and luckily i dont have a long midface bc of excess vertical maxillary length, my midface length is 64mm

What i dont understand is how can someone have lower icd and lower pfl and ocd but bigger IPD

i talked with a guy that had 27mm PFL with 67mm ipd like what????

which is why i said that eye width and IPD suffices.

due to him having a more broad skull/bizygomatic distance, theres no other way besides this since lower icd, pfl and ocd automatically also lower your IPD metric's wise and ratio wise.

which is called wide-spaced eyes, everyones anatomy is different.

im going to sleep now(y)

The raw numbers of the measurements are still the same though, I’m not talking about how wide or narrow their skull is in relation to the eye spacing itself, that would just describe the ES ratio

I am talking about its the same 33 millimeters between the eyes but somehow their eyeballs sit further out to the sides causing them to have wider IPD or something, if u get what i mean

U said it urself, higher pfl, icd and ocd would almost always mean higher IPD too
