I’d say just take one 75-150mg pill for your first time. Someone else recommended taking something else because of withdrawals but for an as needed for social anxiety withdrawals won’t be an issue. As long as you only take it 1-2 times a week you won’t experience withdrawals. If you take it more then that tolerance will likely become an issue.

Definitely not something to take on a daily basis for that specific purpose, you’ll develop tolerance to the effects that relieve social anxiety very quickly ime. If you combat that tolerance by upping the dose then that’s when you need to worry about dependence and withdrawals etc.

But if you’re just taking it every once in a while for social circumstances then in my opinion it’s the perfect medication for that! I’ve been on pregabalin for a good few months taking it once a week, twice on the occasion and I haven’t noticed any dependence or withdrawal symptoms/rebound anxiety. (I’m not a doctor, this is just based on my personal experience)
