Isotope studies measure how much protein came from animal sources vs plant source, it doesn't measure total calories so yes most of our protein might have been from animals but that doesn't lead to the conclusion that we didn't eat plants at all because the total calories are unaccounted for and carnivore sources are more available sources of protein than plants.

So no, I didn't agree that we were carnivores.
