I started balding in my early teens and tried everything I could—minoxidil, finasteride, PRP, dermarolling, and corticosteroids. I visited multiple doctors and spent thousands on bloodwork, tests, and medications, only to end up bald. Doctors believe I have some form of recalcitrant diffuse unpatterned alopecia. They’ve told me I’m not a good candidate for a hair transplant because my donor region is also affected (JFL).
College was incredibly brutal. Friends stopped talking to me, and women used to mock me by drawing caricatures on desks and walls. Professors treated me poorly. I’m a virgin who hasn’t even held a girl’s hand, and now I’m approaching my 30s, feeling like I’ll probably die alone.
Sometimes, treating hair loss isn’t as simple as this forum makes it seem. I wouldn’t wish what I’ve gone through, even on my worst enemy.
