I would have to dig but I saw a short on YouTube. Made me lose respect for this guy because I’d seen some of his content because of my brother and he seemed like a funny guy.
Yeah, it’s such an extreme reaction to a normal question. This is why I don’t follow any sheikhs or whatever, many of them are just cucked.
It is his opinion but it’s shared by many.
The message itself is understandable but to imply it’s forbidden to ask such a question is outrageous.

It is shirk to claim you’ve been forgiven for your sins just because you repented. It is hidden knowledge which only Allah SWT possesses, therefore you cannot make such claims; you can only hope for the best, but to speak in certainty is wrong. Also, it’s very cucked because it gives people a reason to be degenerate.
I did not say you are forgiven with certainty. But if Allah did not reveal your sins, you are not obliged to go around and say oh I used to do this sin this this and that. If Allah covered your fuck ups and you want to be a better person it's ok.
You don’t have to tell everyone about it. But if a prospect asks you about it, then it’s not right to lie (commit a sin) to hide your past. You could also just say you don’t wish to answer. Most people use it as an excuse to lie.
