Optimal sleep time

Seen lots of different opinions on how much sleep you should get during puberty. What is the optimal amount? Does it matter if I sleep after 11 but still get 8-9 hours? And lastly, how much percent of vertical growth comes from sleep?
 
You should definitely have a schedule that would help you the best, I start sleeping at 10 pm and wake up 6. Sleep is definitely not cope and is an easy softmax that just takes some commitment, also always block blue light. After sleeping in a schedule for a little your body will start doing it automatically and will be easy asf.

it's genuinely just when you feel the most refreshed when you wake up. i usually sleep at around 9 pm and wake up at 5 am and feel amazing the next day.

you should at least sleep around 7 hours but perfect amt of hours is 9.

just don't sleep too late and don't be a fucking chud.

The timing doesn't matter as long as it's a consistent time. inconsistency is what makes a sleeping pattern shit, not the specific time you sleep at.

timing does matter tbf, you can't achieve 9 hours while sleeping at night if u sleep late. you can't stay up late

lol what? I've had various sleep patterns across my life and I've slept 9 hours through all of them

It is, we aren't constrained to a time

In any piece of literature about sleep it's always about the circadian rhythm which is directly set by your sleep and wake up time. It's a 24 hour clock that can be influenced by exterior stimuli but ultimately it depends on when you sleep and when you wake up.

It also is healthy. You just have to adjust to it.

honestly if you have black out curtains and can make your room completely dark throughout the day, by theory you can change your circadian rhythm.

but at the same time you might not be able to, since when you go outside and it's light out your body might not be getting the amount of natural sunlight needed

also it's just depressed chud behavior. waking up early is a high iq trait

I'm more productive at night, severe adhd

Just take vitamin D
