I just came back from the orthodontist. He said that my teeth are too crowded for my mouth and that my lower jaw is set further forward than my upper jaw. They mentioned that 4 premolars (2 upper and 2 lower) need to be extracted, followed by a TPA (Transpalatal Arch) appliance and braces.

A word of advice if your sutures arent fused get MSE or Marpe, if they are, then get double jaw surgery (ik expensive) but it will take you to chad. Just tell me your age, NEVER GET YOUR TEETH EXTRACTED your maxilla determines your whole face, it will make your teeth better but you will looks ugly.

So I just saw the other orthodontist he said that the extractions were necessary cuz my teeth were crowding af and no other way to solve that but I asked him if that was gonna recess me or not he told me it wasn't going to.And before that he said that we were going for palate expansion and extractions after that. Also invisalign too

Go to a different ortho, the one you are currently seeing is a mentally ill and brainwashed. You need reverse headgear to fix the bimaxillary protrusion which they obviously don't have.
