palate expander and cheekbones

I have a narrow palate from sucking my thumb for many years and im wondering if I get one for about 15mm would that make my cheekbones much wider? even though I have a narrow palate i still have some what developed cheekbones so im thinking about getting one also for breathing

well it depends really, I am sure it can widen the smile, the cheekbones I don't think your results will be significant but that is okay, there are implants for that.

Why do you think that a palatal expander would help anyway? Do you believe that mewing is not a cope?

because I think my maxilla and overall face could be much wider and my cheekbones especially need more definition
I dont think mewing is cope but its effects are probably very minimal and only at a young age
also I have problems breathing at night through my nose
