Palate expander for easier mewing

Yeah ik "mewing is cope" blah blah blah, hear me out.
It's hard for some people to mew, me included. So getting this kind of palate expander will lower the distance between your tongue and your palate, enabling you to stick the tongue up more easily, because your tongue has to cover less distance to reach the upper palate.
You're pushing the palate expander, which is pushing the palate, while at the same time the palate expander is doing its job at expanding the palate.

imo u should try to mew after u take off the palate expander, that's what id did and now the only reason i can't mew is cuz my tongue blocks my airway. Im cooked

Bruh i went to my Orthodontist and I told him that I have sleep apnea so I need a palate expander but he gaved me a mouth Guard , Now what should I do should I tell him that I want a wide smile and prominent cheekbones? So will he give me palate expander
