Plastic chewing addiction side effects

Every time I'm done with a water bottle, I take the cap and chew it until it's mangled beyond recognition. Sometimes micro pieces of the cap come off and I spit them out but I have to assume some or lot more than I'd think get into my body when I swallow. Does this addiction in anyway affect my development, body, or testosterone levels? I know microplastic consumption is bad and I'm probably eating more plastic from everyday processed foods but I've never researched its effects. Thanks

Well, I mean. It won't have a noticeable effect on you now, but if you keep this going for a few more years there might be slight changes. Which is easily irreversible if you legit just stop chewing on water bottle caps.
