This poll is for the purpose of personal research and curiosity. I guarantee you with 100% certainty all results remain fully confidential, and will not be disclosed to anyone. Data protection and confidentially remains within the confinements of looksmax.org, so ultimately, it's their responsibility.

Please double check your vote before applying it. As it is irreversible. I would like to know what portion of looksmax.org users are suffering with pornography addiction, and whether releasing a full personalised guide on it would be helpful to others.

Poll information:

  • Maximum selectable responses: 2 options
  • Allow voters to change their votes: Off
  • Display votes publicly: Off
  • Allow the results to be viewed without voting: Off
  • Close this poll after: 14 days [current date: 03/06/26]

Thank you for your time.

there is a huge gap between watching porn regularly, like once a day as compared to once a week, once every 2 weeks and so on. its not healthy either way but i think better specification would be better

There's a huge gap, but the psychological pull and drag it has on you is still being reinforced.

This poll is more about whether users do it, and whether they're struggling to quit, as opposed to the intensity of how often it's being done.

Any of it is bad. Whether that's 1x a week, or daily. Users who're attempting to quit may relapse every 1-2 weeks, for months and months on end, those neuro-pathways are still present. To restore those pathways, you need over a year clean without any of it. Those memories stay embedded forever.

Thanks for the feedback, by the way.

Does sex tape with girlfriend count as porn since technically you aren’t being a cuck

This one's a nuance, and I'm glad someone mentioned it.

As for the recordings with your partner, this is obviously different from mainstream porn psychologically, because an actual relationship is attached to it rather than anonymous consumption.

That said, if someone is still dependent on visual and screen based stimulation to masturbate, the reinforcement loop can still exist to some extent. Whether this is harmful depends more on compulsiveness and and dependency as opposed to the material itself.

It's "healthier" than porn, because you know it's you.
It's still healthier in general to avoid this though, in terms of masturbation + visual stimulation loops.

Bumping thread, please vote peeps.

I can't see who votes. All votes are private and server-sided.

I'm more of an imagination type of individual, could never really get into porn because it's too crude. But there was this one lesbian porn video that I watched when I was 14 years old and approximately 7 months that got me my first erection. It wasn't the video per say, I didn't watch more than 30 seconds of it but It was my first time seeing a foid's bare chest and nipples.

You're one of the very rare individuals who it doesn't get a grip off.

For the vast majority of people, you watch it once and it's game over dude. That shit will weld your asshole tight for fucking years if you don't quickly put a stop too it.
