After i finished accutane i got left with PIE marks and my face has been getting really red. I started tretinoin and 10% azelaic acid a few days after finishing accutane. Now been using them for around a month.
Should stop using tretinoin daily? Should i switch to 20% azelaic acid? What should i do to get rid of this redness?

why would u stop using tretinoin

You are supposed to rotate azelic acid amd tretinoin so they can not be used in same day in the start and tretinoin usually as 3x a week when first starting

no point in using topicals after accutane, your sebaceous glands are already atrophied

Its for after care and for pie marks also helps with making accutane results permanent
at that point continue accutane. no clue why people cycle it instead of using it indefinitely. tretinoin is shit

i see your point but after accutane is done and your left with piemarks(left over blood from the acne you had) accutane isnt effective for treating it thats where tretinoin and azelic acid come in

b-but the dude above you just said the sebaceous glands are already closed therefore no point of using topicals
Pie marks isnt about the glands its the aftermath of acne when active acne goes away it doesnt just dissaper the result of which are red marks that can take long to go away if you leave them untreated they can become PIH marks more permanent brown marks thats why you use topicals. I am speaking based on experience dont take my info for granted

Tret=Accutane only difference is topical nature of former rather than systematic nature of latter, redness most likely due to skin sensitivity post accutane and subsequent accentuation of the thing via strong relative summer sun exposure
