I have been told to take accutane, however, I've read that it accutane can speed up the process of growth plates closing. I am 16 and 5'7-5'8. What do I do? Here is what my acne looks like. If there's a better alternative for me then please let me know.

Only normal skincare (For example cleanser, toner and moisturiser) Should I stick to that because I only tried it for around 2 weeks?

Yeah I've only noticed change after months, try azelaic acid + tretinoin if you want something stronger. Accutane doesn't change final height growth, just slows the process in teens. Accutane has many different side effects though it's like the final option for most people.

You can still do these things

1. Expand skincare routine with
   1. Vit C + Glucathion serum, Niacinamide serum
   2. Get salicylic caid (prevents acne breakouts among other things)
   3. Get adapalen if you're worried ab using tretinoin
   4. Tretinoin (stronger adapalen, be careful of usage start with a lower dose 0.025 then build up to 0.05)
   5. Accutane

what country r u from mayb tretinoin and adapalen are only with a prescription there

what country r u from mayb tretinoin and adapalen are only with a prescription there

England, and yes they are prescription only unfortunately. So if I do happen to take accutane, my final height would remain the same as if I don't take it?

tbh theres a chance your not even gonna grow much more anyway, also theres no actual good proof that accutane can speed up the process of growth plates closing. take the pill, it cleared up my skin in a couple months and now i have no breakouts. its the elixer to life
