Do braces stunt maxxila growth? I read online around a week ago that braces make it so your upper palate stays narrow therfore making your jaw and mouth narrow.

if ur front teeth are straight dont put on braces , if theyre crooked then put on braces because its a lot more unappealing to have gargamel teeth then to have a slightly narrow maxilla and u can always get an expander if ur maxilla is narrow

No why would it be, getting braces is good for bones if done right. But using elastics to oull jaw backwards or retracting(making arches narrow is bad.
