Here are a few pictures of identical twins/triplets separated at birth, despite living in different environments they still ended up looking nearly the exact same.

Maybe I'm simply looking at it wrong but does this not prove that genetics explain the vast majority of your face.

Here are a few minor exceptions that I found, but even in these cases you can still observe that genetics are king when it comes to overall appearance. The differences aren't even crazy significant.

This is the only case I was able to find where the twins looked substantially different, it is likely however that BF% is at play but in this case there certainly appears to be noticeable differences. The women in the first two images still appear roughly about the same, the first woman is insanely attractive though ngl.

The conclusion is that while yes significant changes in environment do have the potential to influence your facial development; it is highly likely, especially in the West, that your appearance was majorly determined by genetics. You have to realise that these twins lived completely different lifestyles, even if you were to argue that it "may have been a coincidence", there are just way too many cases of the twins looking identical/ nearly identical.

"The twins look substantially different"

so you just gonna take pictures of people that you believe are twins (dont worry thats not even the problem here) and not control for factors that are environmental such as injuries, surgeries or experiences? No shit a brother can look different from the other if he has a deformed face, born with a genetic disorder, got into a motorcycle accident or really anything else.

To actually conduct a study like this you have to control for environmental factors, which is what twin studies are for to compare cohorts of identical and non identical twins and find out what environmental factor is most significant.

They have very similar physiques tho too. If they didn't you'd see how much people can vary

you are who you are
Once you’re grown your grown

No fucking waaaayyyyy! 😳😲
