This is a copied thread from lookism but I thought it was a good thread so I decided to post it here.
Seriously I'm not trying to troll or to find the one flaw that makes that one difference but from what I've noticed after looking at faces over and over Lachowski, despite apparently being very tall for a model, which can only add to his aesthetics, has a face that makes you go "That guy is legit good-looking that's for sure", I'm trying to imagine him as an unknown guy studying at the same uni as me, I know I would come to conclusion that he's legit handsome, gets pussy, is likely to be a lot of women's wet dream, maybe is even worshipped on some obscure perverted forum.
However, I know that I wouldn't obsess that much on his face. Of course being in some class I would be more interested in what he's doing or what he's wearing compared to every average-looking person in the same piece, maybe I would think "Oh he looks insane today/from that angle" or something, but that would be it, because his appearance (height aside) makes me think of something conventional, ordinary, predictable, typical, and I hate everything that's ordinary or predictable.
I've always felt like he has the kind of face that describes "good-looking" too well, like Google is gonna show you his pictures if you google "handsome man" or like everyone is gonna agree that he's good-looking.
Meanwhile, I find someone like Jordan Barrett to be far from ordinary good-looking. Maybe you could say him and Chico are both let's say 10/10 or whatever but Chico is the ordinary 10/10 and Barrett the extraordinary one. I know if Barrett was a nobody studying at my school I would become obsessed (it's nothing gay, I wouldn't obsess over his dick) with his appearance and what he does, because when I first saw his pictures I felt something intense, like I was being taught a new form of beauty. Don't mean to sound dramatic but I felt as if some weird aestheticism professor was enlightening me with his knowledge, whereas when I first saw Chico's pictures I felt like I was finally seeing one of those handsome models I had kept hearing about, totally different feeling.
I guess some people tend to like what's non-conform and other precisely tend to like what's more obviously good-looking.
Of course in the end I'm not denying Chico spent his youth amogging most of the men he encountered and getting IOIs everywhere he found himself in, but I never obsessed over him. There was this insanely good-looking dude that I used to see at my train station, I felt the exact same thing I felt when first seeing Barrett, like I was once again delivered free access to some more knowledge about aesthetics. I was starting to wonder if heterosexual girls actually experience such feelings towards handsome men LMFAO because of how extreme and intense it felt, despite me not even being gay. This was the very only time it happened to me (Barrett aside).
Chico has the kind of textbook model look, you see him in the streets = you assume he's a NT model who is fun to be around. If you see Barrett in the streets, you don't know who the fuck he is, what the fuck he does for a living, you have no idea, I've always thought he has an insane aura, looks like he could be a gay pornstar as well as a random junkie who loves drug and fucking women, looks like he could be a serial killer who'll never get caught because he's too good at life. Doesn't even look like a typical surfer despite his hair.
One picture that sums it up is this one:
Chico has a noticeably symmetrical face, everything looks proportionate, nothing too big, nothing too wide, nothing too long, his hair screams NT model, just like his stubble. He has regular ears as well. Barrett's face doesn't appear as symmetrical as Chico's, mainly due to his eyes, his left eye (the right one on the pic) makes him look like he's a pissed off lion while his right eye looks more regular. His shoulders are noticeably wider than Chico's, and then his nose is disproportionately thin compared to his facial width, and so on, you know how to look at a face. Looks hybrid, you're wondering if he really is Chico's friend or just planning on killing him or the guy taking the picture.
Notice how Barrett doesn't even feel the need to fraud with squinting? He didn't fell for that retarded meme whereas Chico definitely looks like he's squinting.
If you didn't know this guys you would react like this: "Okay so that guy on the left is probably one of the most successful male models out there... and oh... who the fuck is that on the right? WHO THE ACTUAL FUCK IS HE? NEVER THOUGHT YOU COULD LOOK THAT GOOD"
