For example chin tucks, hard premolar chewing, 24/7 mewing, etc.
I know most of the shit is cope but it would theoretically have SOME effect, at least over a long period of time.
I just turned 18

By the time I’m say; 25
Will the effects of these mechanical habits have made a difference, in comparison to if I had never started?

Is it worth it to even go through the trouble?

In my opinion I think these mechanical forces might actually potentially ascend you even after 18.
Every time I practice hard premolar chewing, I can literally feel it in my skull.
I can feel the blood rushing to my masseters, and my temples, and I swear to god I can literally feel pressure in my maxilla, behind my nose, akin to when I had a palate expander.

I just want peoples thoughts on this issue.

7 years of mechanical force? yeah prolly will ascend you a little bit, but considering your skull is already finished developing by that time don’t except much

like i guess, would it provide any forward growth/ substantial bonemass, apart from just the natural bone growth that every male experiences between 18-25

I picked 25 cause that’s the age where you skull is literally impossible to change without something like mse

Many men experience small natural ascensions in their early 20s though, due to “late puberty” / late bone growth or whatever.
Jacob elordi is a good example.

in 2018 he was like 20 in the kissing booth,
Then in 2021 euphoria he was like 23 and his bonemass had increased a shit ton.

Honestly yes multiple people have complemented me like
“wow your face is looking really good lately”

But I also lost a tone of weight due recently, so it could just be that.

Although I have definitely noticed some masseter development, and maybe some hyoid tightening.
Only been doing it for like a month though.

nice. I've done some experimenting and tried thumbpulling and noticed the alignment of my teeth improve, but after some time I didnt notice any change rlly. I believe this was a problem with consistency. what do u think abt thumbpulling

Never tried thumbpulling.
Mostly because I’ve had a palate expander already which is the same thing, just more intense.

You have your palate expander in 24/7 for months on end, and every single day you crank a knob to increase the pressure that it exerts.
It exerts so much force, that if you crank it 10-20 times before you go to bed, you will wake up with a gap in your teeth big enough to fit a quarter.
The gap closes within a day or two, but still.

I know this, because I used to do it.
as a kid my orthodontist said “8 cranks per night”
I would do 20 some nights, and wake up with a gap.
Now I have insane zygos.

But to get back to the main point, do you really think thumbpulling for even 30 minutes per day will exert enough force to change anything? No it won’t unless you’re 5 years old and your bones are like play-dough.

no but I mean I gotta make do u gotta try what u can,I want to get a palate expander but im broke asf
