Record-breaking female powerlifter can deadlift 639 lbs - the weight of a baby grand piano - after kicking her food addiction

She registered a remarkable total of 1,620.4 pounds in the squat, bench press and deadlift at the American Pro competition in Virginia.

literally no one here, not even those on T like @OldRooster , can match her lifts

I am sure she is on a higher dose of T that I am.

Mogger sons, as if she could ever get pregnant. (eta: article says she has children already, fucking sheebons)

JFL that her social media name is "plus size_fitqueen 4.0", as if being able to lift a shit ton of weight is evidence of being healthy.

the weakest man has more T than the strongest woman and should technically lift more

i honestly thought she was natty

still do tbh, she shows no sign of vascularity or other tell-tale signs

actually i just googled the event and it looks like it's not tested, so you may be right. the T would also be the reason why she lost so much weight

I've posted videos of my press before that I can also match her in, but I do need to take a video of my deadlift still.

You are a fellow powerlifting-cel too then?

somewhat.

her bench press record is 160~ or something, I can press that paused off the floor, and probably got more rom while doing it than she does on the bench anyway, but I can do the same on a bench too.

I don't try 1 rep maxing on DL's that often, especially conventionally and with a stiff bar (which is the only way you should be doing it)

not a deadlift video, but just to make a point that I'm not talking out of my ass about being relatively strong.

600lbs deadlift at bodyweight of 400lbs is not impressive, even for female.

Middle plate is a 25lbs or 35lbs and 3 plate is not 160kg. Nice try. Floor pressing is also half the ROM of normal bench so it's not comparable. From video you literally are starting the movement above the sticking point lmao. Either way you look dyel.

those look like 20kg plates. So 140kg floor press? Floor press is much easier and less ROM than a regular barbell bench press. The ratio of 1RM bench press to floor press is around 75% for most people. So you are looking at a 105kg 1RM regular barbell bench press, which is closer to beginner level than advanced. Much less impressive than a legit 160kg bench press.

*Even assuming that is a 160kg floor press it only translates to a 120kg bench press, which is still intermediate level. Your average gym bro can bench 120 after 1-2 years of training.

wrong, my floor press has more ROM than what most powerlifters do on a bench.

wrong again.

the clinch of the bench is at the horizontal, if you're able to floor press a weight, you're able to bench it.

+ cope about plates I already posted.

the only people that are able to press significantly more than they're able to bench are midgets, for everyone else it makes almost no difference whatsoever because it's not the part of the bench where anyone struggles to move it.

105kg is begginer level? Isn't begginer level 1RM your body weight? :feelscry:

It's on the lower end of intermediate. Not beginner. Most people above 70kg should be able to get 105kg after 6-18 months of training.

Eh, there is objectively less ROM. Your elbows go below parallel to the bench when you do a proper press. Floor press limits the ROM to parallel because your upper arms hit the floor.

Also, the bar clearly gets nowhere close to your chest, which omits the biggest sticking point of the bench press... (i.e. off the chest) and shows a much reduced ROM. There is also consensus on the internet that the floor press enables significantly heavier loading because the movement is easier. Only female lightweight powerlifters with excessive arches are doing less ROM than your floor press.

Anyways, the only way to prove you can bench 160kg is to post a video of you doing a proper bench press... with 160kg.

Don't fucking care what "most powerlifters" do. I don't care that a sport for fat guys to feel good about themselves people who compete with a 40° lumbar spinal extension angle with a giant gut protruding. You're doing visibly half the ROM. I don't bench like a powerlifter(fat guy). I get full ROM and I benched 160kg that way. Now it's your turn you fucking fraud.

Yeah it's half rep ffs, it's above the sticking point. This is essentially like a 3-4 board press. Some of that Louie Simmons shit. My buddy used to do that and could always do 30-50lbs more depending on rep range. Skinny cunt's a bullshitter. If he had posted a physique pic where he doesn't look dyel or look like he set the pic up like a girl I wouldn't have questioned shit. The half rep bench of 160kg bragging when in video he looks small as fuck was just cringe.

As someone who knows neither of you: I have to side with theraven with the dark triad stern look on his face.

I don't know either of you so I don't have a horse in this race but you are correct:

What he did - floor press - is a fucking joke in comparison to an actual bench using a FUCKING BENCH like a normal lifter does. BRB doing a half squat but claiming the figures.

The audacity to then claim that it's GTG and just as valid is ridiculous.

Anyway: you both look healthier than this crazy bitch so what's it matter, regardless. Bet the bitch gasses out doing one flight of stairs. I cannot stand permabulkers/powerlifters that look like a health hazard. Nothing to be proud of in her case.

more like 3x my bodyfat.
Still don't see that video of you benching 160kg. If you bench even just 3 plate for 1 rep on camera I will take back everything I said. You can arch, do touch and go, and it's 20kg less ffs. That should be fucking easy as fuck for someone that can bench 160kg.
