You should read the comments jfl. They say they WANT the disturbing, uncanny features on the sketches done by the trained artists, not realising they do a shit job. Compared to AI which debloats the corpse (bloating is a stage of decomposition), and pushes the maxilla forward a bit since they're lying down in a morgue, and removes any sign of death on a face.

bad forensic art is due to a small talent pool. no one wants to go into a field to draw rotten corpses all day. legit artists would have no problem drawing corpses into normal looking humans

the ai art doesn't look too helpful either. it transformed rotten bloated corpses into cartoon characters. how accurate is it?
