Secular societies are just a combination of different copes until you die. Whether it's football, music, nationalism, vidya games, porn etc. Godless west would go even more mad without them. Society in western society is already on a nihilistic path to nothing. Islam and Christianity before it is a glue which holds communities together. Even atheists like Nietzsche saw that lack of religion was destructive to society, that's why he ended up going mad himself and retreated with his own re-evaluation of values.

I don't care about western societies - despite being born in UK. I just hope none of these secularising forces make impact in Muslim world. They already have but there have been counter-cultures and ideologies formed in response. Unfortunately they're too reactionary and brain-dead themselves.
