Religion is cope but “god” isnt. Consciousness is proof of intent. What conceptualized it? The senses are also proof of intent. “Church” is supposed to be cope at best. Its a social order. Its a comfort, another product or derivative of the truth. But the dark side of religion in modern times is that, religion in my experince has been maliciously used to take away authentic(logical/introspective) people from the source of said religion, that source which is, in my observation, valuable when it comes to understanding “god”. Its obvious that people who associate with a church are at most times, carnal, non introspective, prideful, narssistic etc. especially when they force their way of living to others without even fully practicing, being in deep interest, or staying in pursuit of understanding when it comes to the content of their religion. But thats the point. By design perhaps its supposed to be obvious. What better way to hide truth in plain sight. Similar to how in todays time we have popular personas, or organizations who use disinformation or propaganda to categorize subjects of content into “Labels” (think of how subjects of female nature in todays time are labeled “incel content”, or how predictable study of society is labaled “conspiracy theory”. These categorizations are often used to attack or label the truth, as being part of something crazy or insulting. Those who are aware, or disgusted with the phonyness of religion will for sure also have similar feelings to the data, the books, the actual path of authentic content, the religion uses. But remember, the beef is not the burger (the burger being religion, the beef being actual texts that can help better understand “god”(with testing of course)). For this reason i would have to agree with you.
