the moment when Ai gains the ability to self improve. at
first the enhancement won't be noticeable, but it is an
exponential process. soon, the Ai will reach levels of
intelligence that will dwarf the combined output of
every single human and computer ever in existence.
imagine the difference between us and an ant, and then
multiply that by trillions. that would be the contrast
between us and it. if it is benevolent, we all benefit. if it
is malevolent, there is nothing we can do. most experts
say the singularity is only a few decades away. it will
most likely happen in our lifespans.
kinda scary to think about that the creation, for all
intents and purposes, of a god is just around the corner
