Should I consider seeing a psychologist if “looksmaxing” puts so much pressure on me that I think about suicide, even though I’m not depressed at all? I see suicide more as a way out.

I’m an anxious perfectionist who suffers from body dysmorphia, so I’m stuck in an endless loop: I keep waiting until I’m absolutely perfect before I allow myself to live my life (make friends, go out, get a girlfriend).

But since perfection doesn’t exist, I’ll never have that life.

And because I also suffer from body dysmorphia, my goal feels even more impossible to reach.

Actually, a small part of me enjoys this long journey toward absolute perfection because it gives my life a purpose, since I have nothing else

No. It’s not about that, but you have to understand that, logically, an anxious person has no social skills.
So, in an anxious person’s mind, the only way to fit in and be accepted is to be physically attractive.
That way, people will naturally come up to us on their own.
It’s so brutal, bro.
My whole life is entirely based on my appearance. I’ve been thinking about it day and night since I was literally 12 years old.
