Ruined my skin for good

before, and the end of last year i had perfect flawless skin. Then school started and i was honestly stressing out a lot so i started breaking out so quick and so bad. Instantly i wanted to start accutane but these fuckass doctors/dermatologists wouldn’t give me accutane as it wasn’t that severe yet and i had not tried other prescribed cope shit. Then i got some epiduo and antibiotics, used them for three months and well well well my acne was already absolutely terrible, those drugs did nothing. Then only when it got to the point where i literally didn’t want to leave my house because of how bad my acne was, i finally got accutane prescribed. It was already cystic, deep and severe af. Now i’ve been on it for three months and yes it has improved but now i’m realising that i’m going to be left with fucking scars probably for the rest of my life unless i do some expensive lasering shit.

if you truly wanna stop the acne then take hormone blockers bro theres no other way to stop the acne (satire i hope you wont trade hormones for less acne)

They literally gave you topicals for small animals like cats, lmao wtf. Are your dermas genuinely retarded? Also lasers (atleast here in Poland) are surprisingly cheap, so unless you're in the US I doubt it'll be that expensive, deep herbal peels are also extremely effective at removing PIEs. I struggled with acne for years before finding a really competent derma and my acne is already fixed and my scars are going to be treated this Thursday. Granted I did use tretinoin and other retinoids for years so I got to skip my purge phase and it all went away with some zineryt, acnatac and some procedure they did to me that I don't know anything about because my parents organized it for me (I had it like a week ago and now I have glass skin, I still have my scars and shit but I'll be done with them this Thursday like I said). It's really hard to undo severe skin damage, but it's never over for us acnecels.

That's not a valid excuse anyway, my dad had "puberty acne" and it only went away by itself when he turned 23 but by that time his whole face was fucked up and he looked overaged.

Yeah it’s fucked up they give me some topical shit i already knew it wouldn’t work before i even tried them.
After my acne is fully gone and i’m finished with accutane, i’ll probably try stuff like micro needling and azelaic acid first and if won’t help i’ll look into lasering

my advice (from experiewnce) is don't rush the process, out of impatience).

giuve the accutane time to do its thing, then give time for skin barrier to properly heal. ALWAYS USE SUNSCREEN ACCUTANE OR NOT

when your skin is finally healed, do active recovery slwoly (i dermastamped too much, too quickly, got some hyperpigmentaqtion)
