clearly not very high IQ if you choose $1-2/h over a normal minimum wage job

but it isn't hard at all if you don't plan to do end-game content, it's a 20 year old point and click game

best money is actually in skilling services, where you just get up the levels of other people's accounts. don't even need a good account of your own to do it tbh

if you're decent at it you can play on 3-4 different accounts at the same time and make $10/h

just had a massive player base and progress in it is so slow that you feel some kind of achievement after wasting away 8 hours

also it being an MMO with functioning economy and gold having a real life value is another big factor

Yeah, the feeling of achievement is the biggest deal. Like people actually show respect to you, if you've done something challenging, unlike in other games where kids think they're on your level. But it's not like it used to be, runescape used to be magical, now it's just a nice game I play a few days now and then, and then quit again.

no idea, as i never played it to make money, i genuinly enjoyed it.

scamming and running bot farms a side, if you're really good at player-vs-player combat you can make $20-30/h with most of the time just standing around and looking for your next fight

so good thing to do on the side while you haven't found an opponent

no. I just play runescape as a hobby. ive never made real money from it. making money from runescape is a dumb idea. the best accounts sell for only like 200 dollars. And that's an account with 99 everything. Literally the dumbest shit ever to try to make a living off leveling up a runescape account.

Yeah, see those very first 2 items, blue shield and bow? Bow is like a billion gp/ 1000 euros. Shield is like 700 euros. Then there's lots of 30-50 euro items in second tab, and ghrazi rapier which is like 200 euros. However you gotta be good at scamming, there's guys who've made lambos from it, but they're really good. Everyone in the game tries scamming people once in a while, but you gotta do a lot of it to be good in it. When I was scamming, I met this guy who made crazy money, but his strategy was to give a rich user a 2-3 euro item, and then ask it back with like a good item, and then he'd proceed to ask more and more. What's really interesting is that once a guy has given you one good item they don't want to lose, they don't want to stop playing your trust game, and they'll just keep giving everything they have until they're cleaned just hoping to get their shit back.
