How Serving Lowered My Inhib

In my own personal life experience atleast, i’ve found that becoming a server actually forces you to become less socially inhibited.

I work at a restaurant that’s owned privately and is in a relatively small city. When i started my first job was on the cookline. I’d come in a genuinely just not talk to anyone at all, wouldn’t say hi to anyone, wouldn’t entertain conversation because i genuinely didn’t know how too do so. I was stuck like this for around a year. After spending some amount of time there i was given the opportunity to become a server. Of course this genuinely terrified me even though most of the people we get are old as fuck and mentally incapacitated. I started working a few days a week as a sever and would genuinely go out and do the bare minimum and act retarded asf. After a while i started entertaining conversations which was relatively easy considering it’s all old people. I started making a lot more tips i now regularly leave with around $200 in my pocket every single night. I think the money was a big motivator because the more you talk and glaze the more satisfied they feel overall. The halo affect also plays a crucial role, as long as your atleast MTN people will automatically tend to appeal to you.

Overall serving lowered my inhibition by forcing me to learn how to regularly conversation and entertain any retarded conversation. With money as a motive it’s pretty easy to put yourself out there and atleast try. In the end i also started talking more with coworkers and even got with one of the girls i worked with. Definitely worth a shot for anyone looking for a little money and help with inhib.
