Your maxilla has to stretch forwards as far as it can to try and catch up to the lower jaw, and even then it fails to keep up, falls behind, and you get an underbite.

Just because you were born with an abnormally short anterior cranial base.

Short anterior cranial base is, in the following image, when the distances from the "Ptv" point to the "Or" point, and from the "Ptv" point to the "Na" point, are short.

Short cranial base is an unfixable falio.

The underbite that results from it can be compensated for by bimaxing the patient, which may dogmaxx them if done to exess, ruin their nose shape, etc. In severe cases, the patient’s maxilla can’t be advanced enough to correct their occlusion, so they need premolar extractions from their mandible to recess their jaw. Brutal situation.

The 2nd guy’s ear-to-forehead distance is short. His maxilla is recessed as well. Short cranial base, slightly recessed maxilla, and maybe slight mandibular overgrowth all are contributing factors to his underbite.

What a strange abnormality
It's not strange. It's maxillary hypoplasia.
Has an occurrence rate of about 5-10% in caucasians, probably higher if you take into account downward grown class IIs.

Yes, but a person can also have a normally grown maxilla attached to a recessed frontal cranium.

That's 100% true but often they are part and parcel.

Are there any chads with this ?

Robert Pattison. He has a decent frontal cranium but a hypoplastic maxilla.

When he was younger, looking at his front you couldn’t really tell but he’s aged quite poorly. Maybe that was the cause of it ?

It's definitely a factor. A good maxilla provides critical support to soft tissue.
However, you have the likes of Kieran Culkin - who has a somewhat similar problem - and he still looks 25 at 40 years old.

So the short answer is, yes a robust maxilla is key to age proofing but soft tissue genetics is very important as well.

It's like you're reading me a bedtime story. Maxilla becomes depressed about the short cranial base and it starts LDARing.

Wasn't the point of this thread to highlight the fact that the degree of anterior cranium projection one has limits the degree of maxillary projection one has? What does that have to do with Pattinson possessing a well-projected anterior cranium while having a hypoplastic maxilla?

Reviving this thread.

Now, I know why my skull looks so small and retarded. I thought the back of my head is short but looks like I have a short cranial base. Truly over.

Chance of this growing by blasting trt, tren, everything else?

Edit: this needs to be in BOTB, there is nothing there about cranium size, proportions, etc. I've seen your other threads on this topic OP. You should make detailed one with everything inside.

I prefer to call this posterior facial depth, so to relate it to RMS's Facial Depth Defined, and because it only reveals truly final and indisputable subhumanity when this length is given as a ratio to the height of the face. See the two pictures bellow and how they're overlayed and described as a proportion of the facial height.

1/0.6 = 1.61...(blah blah blah, golden ratio happens to show up here)

Here here. This is actually as brutal as Shoulder-scapula pill or Craniofacial Plane Angles of Aesthetics. Posterior facial depth giving a facial depth ratio of 0.6 and over is actually the stuff of Chad and Stacy. It's like the final skullpill to digest and then head to the hardware store for a rope strong enough to you know.

LET ME BE AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE. YOU WILL NEVER EVER IN YOUR ONE SINGLE LIFE ON EARTH BE THE MAIN CHARACTER IF YOUR FACIAL DEPTH RATIO IS DOO DOO. :feelswhy::feelswhy::feelswhy::feelswhy::feelswhy::blackpill::blackpill::blackpill::blackpill::blackpill::blackpill::blackpill::blackpill::blackpill::blackpill::feelswhy::feelswhy::feelswhy::feelswhy::feelswhy::feelswhy::feelswhy::feelswhy::feelswhy::feelswhy::blackpill::blackpill::blackpill::blackpill::blackpill::blackpill::blackpill::blackpill::blackpill::feelshah::feelswah::feelswhy::feelswhy:

AND THERE'S NOTHING SURGEONS CAN DO ABOUT IT, SO YOU CAN'T EVEN COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPE!!!!

I've blackpilled myself into oblivion with this one. I don't even know how I woke up today. This is just so so brutal. There is nothing else after you accept this shit.

In fact, I said facial height, NO. Just three measurements is all you need to know if you're going to look robust in many pictures. The length from your tragus to your glabella as a line parallel to the frankfurt. The length from that to the bottom of your chin orthogonal to the frankfurt, and that's it.

So you know how we say, you need a midface ratio of 1. Well you need this shit to be 1 too. Robust squares all around or death apparently.

Facial depth ratio

I was just doing this shit off intuition, but this is blackpilling to the nth degree of brutal. This one number is your Chadliness limit. if it's <1 you wont look good in every photo and from all angles. Your face will look flat and weak no matter what quality of bones or maxilla are in the square if it's <1 or your low bodyfat. It's your skull limits.

And the thing is, the thing is, that anterior facial depth is subordinate to posterior facial depth and its ratio. If you try extend your anterior facial depth beyond it like how is possible with current surgical techniques, bimax, etc. You will end up DOGGED. Like this shit

Over

I don't know what I'm going to do. I've ruined my day by measuring myself like this. I don't know how to cope.

This is why cephalic index is shit.

Posterior facial depth against cephalic index

"Oh i'm dolicho, I look good" :soy::soy::soy:
Yeah, well, that's not going to help your 0.6 facial depth ratio

Upping the facial depth ratio to 1
Brutal bruutal

BRUTAL. This has dire effects on your frontal profile too. It means your jaw is perceived to be longer, straighter. Bruatl

(Still thinking of a name for this brutal, damning and ultimate ratio)

the part of your skull behind your ears (the red) is cope for the most part

FACIAL DEPTH RATIO OF 1 and ORBITOMAXILLARY PLANE ANGLE OF 30 DEGREES IS THE CHAD SIDE PROFILE

FACIAL DEPTH RATIO OF 1
Manly facial thirds
10 degree MPA
10 degree temporal plane angle
midface ratio of 1
broad chin
Wide jaws and palette.
99th percentile of bizygomatic breadth
30 degree orbitomaxillary plane angle with good upper maxillary projection
positive orbital vector and male dimorphism in and of the orbits.
LONG PFL and positive or neutral canthal tilt

This is like Chad in a numeric description
Am I missing anything?
