Should ethnics lighten there skin or hair

As you guys know ethnics have bad coloring due to lack of contrast(dark hair, dark eyes and skin). Should a ethnic get lighter hair or lighter skin to contrast better?

Hmm.

Contrasting is definitely extremely important. With dark skin and dark hair, however, as is the case with ethnics and blacks, I think it is of less importance than white men. I think coloring hair does not achieve the same affect in ethnics and blacks as it does in white men.

I would consider other options for maximizing looks.
