You can still have doms after muscle is fully recovered. If you are pushing more weight or doing more reps than the last time you did the exercise then keep going.

If you just started working out, then this will happen. You can stop working out then wait a few days if you want. You can push through it if you want too.

It only really matters once you’re more experienced you wanna make sure you heal for optimal muscle growth.
