Should I do leg day today?

I was thinking of doing leg day but I haven’t done it in so long because I haven’t gone to the gym consistently for like a year+.

My thighs feel like they are going to cramp soon should I continue squatting heavier or no?

Do it but take it slowly. Legs do matter. If you bulk your upper body up and never focus on legs you'll look like this guy
