Should i get a perm if i have already curly hair?

I Have curly black hairs (Type 3A), But i have a lot of frizz and my hair looks always dry as fuck.

I put leave in conditioner and oil on my hair and that makes them look acceptable but my hair quality is straight up shit.

I was mirin @Gaygymmaxx Black permed wavy hair and was thinking about doing it.

Will it fuck my hair up or will it help with removing the frizz and giving me compact and healthy curls?(also i’m balding so i’m scared that my balding will show if i have less volume than now because now my hair is covering the balding)
