Should weight be lost during a young age?

I see others losing weight, but I hear others online say I dont until I finish growing.

Dont want to be fat nor malnourished, eat good not sludge and stay in a healty bf%

nah bro, losing weight young isn’t automatically bad it just depends how you do it and what your current situation is. if you’re overweight or have high body fat, cutting down slowly is actually healthier and can help your hormones, confidence, and energy long-term. the only real issue is if you go extreme with it (starving, overtraining, or dropping weight too fast), since that can mess with growth, hormones, and even bone density. if you’re still growing, your focus should be body recomposition, not crash dieting lift, eat high protein, keep calories slightly below maintenance, and make sure you’re sleeping well. you’ll lose fat and still grow taller/fill out naturally.

actually yes but dont starve yourself we have enough studies to to see that overweight in young ages is bad in every feature of your heath even worse when you are young. try to lose a bit but hit all your micros and makros
