Side profile: should chin project after lips?

My surgeon said it WOULD be possible to put my chin a little after the lips, but he would rather not because "the chin tip should always be before the lips". I, of course, think he's copping (take the second image for example, it gives the appearance of a really strong chin). What's the blackpill consensus on that?

I think it depends on the person, with a really forward projection you can either pull a henry cavill look or a dream lord farquad one, if the chin fits in harmony with your facial features then it would be better

I think this is ideal. Past the lips, just behind the nasal tip. But it depends on the rest of your features.
