I mean, maybe. I have trained my hyoid to stand all the way up but I still have strange deposit of fat right smack behind my chin.
Even If i stand all the way up with straight posture, right where my chin ends--on the bottom--a slope of skin travels straight down to my adams apple.
Maybe my entire lower third isn't grown forward far enough because of braces, or maybe I have shit fat deposits

Did chewing help with skin near hyoid? I feel like a thin mandible and small massaters leaves excess skin there

I mean because my jaw is so wide including masseter muscles and also my mandible is quite long the hyoid skin under is tight and sucked up leaving little room for sag
Even when I’m fat that region stays unaffected for the most part
People overestimate how much fat is actually stored there, it’s very little mostly based on structure imo
