I've been using taz for a while now, and my smile lines have gotten worse. I moisturize well, of course, with a moisturizing cream. How often do you take taz per week? How to improve your skin barrier? I heard about La roche posay b5 Baume which would help strengthen its skin barrier if you have any feedback

Skincare is a game of trial and error, some things will work for you that will not work for others and vice versa.

Don't do drugs

tbh best thing for skin barrier is applying less products, i know it sounds crazy but a shit ton of products will just fuck up ur skin barrier less is more

Even in terms of collagen, isotretinoin, mogs, taz?
I don't think you understand, I did not unintentionally omit any nuance that might be applicable here. My blanket statement was intentional.
Isotretinoin is objectively better for everything, compared to topical retinoids.

Good call, man. I'll look for a source of Accutane right away.

I write a eulogy for people skin barrier when I hear they are going to start Taz/Tret.

They are redundant. Isotretinoin mogs in all aspects.

Ive been on tretinoin for 4 months and it also worsened the creases/wrinkles under my eyes, I didnt have those before so im hopping off tretinoin.

Have your wrinkles disappeared?

@aids @chadisbeingmade
What do you think of this interesting answer given by someone?

tazarotene will slightly outperform accutane for anti ageing as in studies ive seen 20mg has given 35-60% increase in collagen depending on study while tazarotene has give around +80%, tazarotene has also given more prolific and faster anti ageing effects like angiogenesis and wrinkle removal better than isotretnoin both topical and oral and also accutane gives a very slight liver disruption and isnt great for joints long term, these 2 effects arent horrible but nevertheless unideal

Acutane is able tho to cause collagen increase easier in all and deeper layers of the skin and its also better for inflammation than taz, which is why it's superior for acne. So its close but i would still and do go with tazarotene long term
