-body recomposition is about maximizing muscle and minimizing body fat.
-These metrics complement each other the lower your bf% the more muscle you'll appear to have, and vise versa.

2. slight calorie defecit
3. muscle stimulation (lifting)
-When at a caloric defecit you shouldn't expect to build new muscle but instead the aim is to work the muscles enough so that your body will register that they can't be used as fuel

-these are just the first steps, once you get to a more manageable bf% (while hopefully retaining your pre-existing muscle)
