i did that too when i first started but i figured i should lean bulk to gain muscle and still do cardio to burn fat

Skinnyfat is a combination of not enough muscle, and a bit too much fat
Youre not gonna fix it by starvemaxxing because you wont have enough calories nor protein to build muscle.
