Correlation not causation. Having cystic acne makes people suicidal, so users are more likely to be depressed in the first place. Accutane has a purging stage and a bunch of other sides that might induce depression. I doubt it's changing brain chemistry directly though.

I disagree. There are certain changes it does to the body. It's extremely suspicious that women are forced to take birth control during it and are not allowed to use it during pregnancy. I do think you made a valid point though however.
