Social confidence isn’t really confidence most of the time. It’s just lower sensitivity to rejection signals.
Some people pick up every tiny shift in tone or eye contact and instantly tighten up. Others don’t process that shit as strongly, so they just keep talking like nothing happened. Same behaviour, different internal filter.
So maybe confidence isn’t rare, just uneven signal processing.
