U didn’t even get fat. This is why u either commit to the bulk and actually gain muscle, or do whatever u did get slightly chubby and zero progress

That’s pretty low, get whey protein then. Also keep carbs high easy way to increase calories

What’s a good protein number? I don’t go below 130 is what I mean

Yeah man, some days I can’t eat as much. I try to reach at least 130 protein a day and 2400 cal Eating is really difficult for me.
You can get 1200 a day ( maybe more depending on brand ) just from 2 mass gainer shakes.
Dinner can be 500g ground beef and mashed potatoes with butter. That's around 2500/2700 for the day with about 180g protein and it's only 1 big meal unless you include the shakes as a meal.

its not necessary to become morbidly obese to benefit from a bulk, you just need to eat enough surplus for your muscles to use more energy
