The artist exists because the world is not perfect. Art would be useless if the world were perfect, as man wouldn’t look for harmony but would simply live in it. Art is born out of an ill-designed world.

the world itself is perfect, or at least so much complex, sophisticated, that never ever human can comprehensively understand it.
If the artist, or the philosopher, or the scientist do exist, it's only to understand it a little bit more than the average individual.
And that perfection - which has not be confused with the bad humans behaviour due to free will -, only can lead to the first principle which made it and more.
