My parents told me this jaw surgery wont improve my looks and refused to listen to justifications of why i need this surgery. When i showed this morph, they said the left one looks better and the right one is weird. I tried explaining i need the surgery to improve my breathing as well. They refused to believe my reasons. My dad told me breathing technique and walking in the morning will improve my breathing without needing surgery to expand my possible narrow airway. So right now, im consulting my surgeon again to refer me to a airway specialist to help claim insurance by exploring airway problems. I decided relying them for financial support is a very bad idea. Thus, claiming health insurance is the way to go especially when i have forward head posture and chronic stiff neck as well. Wondering if i stand a good chance of claiming health insurance. If my insurance do get approved, im planning for larger double jaw movements, perhaps considering adding genioplasty as well.

Do you really have breathing problems? How's your bite?

i dont care. i have always been insecure of my receding chin. I just want to have good forward growth for my own happiness and to improve my self esteem.

If it doesn’t cover jaw surgery and you just want the improved look, look into getting a genioplasty. They’re cheaper and easier and visually has a very similar effect to lower jaw surgery.

im planning for bimax. not only to improve my looks but genuinely to improve my health. Hope this surgery will have a good chance of eliminating my chronic neck pain by expanding my airways.

I don't know if it covers, might worth some calls, if not, all I can recommend is moneymaxx for the surgeries you want.
hoping to get my insurance covered via the sleep apnea route. but my surgeon have to refer me to an airway specialist first.

holy shit it really is just some mm of bones

If you have breathing problems, sure, depending on the country. Some people fake an overnight sleep test by getting kind of drunk beforehand so they snore. If you are badly recessed sometimes the airway is small. Some people are recessed with no airway issues.
