I'm reading Alan Foster's Quozl which is a sci-fi novel taking place from the perspective of an alien civilization's known as the Quozl. Or a single colony ship that is. Their race use to be warlike and stupid but learned how to turn themselves into pacifists who hate violence by carefully regulating reproduction which historically was the main cause of war in their homeworld as a result of their massive sex drives. On their first scouting mission one of their team members gets blown away by a redneck with a shotgun and they retreat back to their ship. After the alien commanders briefly examine the human's culture one of them drops the following redpill that's so big that I'm honestly shocked there are actually sci writers out there who seem to actually fucking get it (note: "Shirazians" are the alien's name for humans):

Just holy shit this is like redpill shit before redpill shit was even a thing. This fucking author gets it.

you are low iq tbh. it has been said before and still but it is wrong and bluepilled.

rejection of sex drive goes hand by hand with intellectualizing, meaning people glorify intellect rather than physical, moving from existence to metaphysical. Example, transition from Paganism to Christianity. i can't simply write down why it is problematic and bluepilled mainstream idea but you can check Beyond Good And Evil by Nietzsche. Simply put it is nihilistic attitude fueled with resentment against the noble, like glorification of body or mental moral and physical excelence that many can't and never will attain. So instead you democratize the noble: go for something everything can get, like knowledge instead of wisdom, subhuman soycuck that no physical drive to fight for his reproduction instead of ubermench that may claim all and threat even you and so on.

Plus if civilization is repression of sex drive that canalized to art culture and shit, you need sex drive to repress in the first place. But if we had't sex drive in the first place, nothing would ever be happened at all. Then could you really say that full pacification would be a good thing? In fact it is not the non existance or canalizing what build civilizations, it is the act of repression it self: the first law of Oedipus, prohibition of incest of mother that started monogamy, establishment as family and law so forth. More on that in Totem and Taboo by Freud.

thread has potential if you go deeper on the subject. maybe tie this in to our current, over-sexualized culture and its impact on how we behave on a broader level. also, less text pls
