Bideltoid is the measure from delt to delt. This can be improved by gymmaxing.

Biachromial width is the measure of your bone length, aka actual frame. Anyone who claims good frame but doesn’t pay attention to bichromial is coping hard.

If you want to measure your frame, use biachromial width. It is not only a better, more consistent measure, but it measures actual looks. You can gymmax to a 22 inch bideltoid and still look shit with bad bones.


Examples:

Good biachromial:

Connor Mcgregor is thin as fuck but looks like he has a fantastic frame because of how big his bichromial width is. You can see how far his collar bone goes on his right side in this pic.

This(admittedly shopped) pic shows that if you have a shit biachromial even roids can’t help you.

To measure, go back against a wall and find the outermost point of your acromian. This pic explains where tf you should be in relation to your back bones.

Then use a pencil and mark where your shit ends. Measure and subtract a cm for pencil width and shit.

Compare using this table. If you’re sub 40 it’s over.

This is the superior measurement to bideltoid. Obese people on this form measure their bideltoid as 23+ because of the sheer amount of fat in their shoulders. Biachromial is superior to bideltoid. It determines how your frame looks to others and your potential.

I literally put an explantation on how to measure. If you’re so fat that you can’t feel the bones or some shit this is the least of your worries.

This thread is for people who are interested in frame. Too many of them use bideltoid which is moronic. Good frame = good biachromial width.

unless you have 24"+ calipers there's literally zero way to measure this correctly - tape adds size even if you measure as accurately as possible

mine jumps 2cm with tape vs caliper and I am as accurate as anyone can be with the tape

Also proportions are important too IMO. While yes, sheer size/mass is good for dominance and intimidation, you have to have decent ratios for aesthetics as well.

Good Biachromial (43cm+) and 54cm+ shoulders are top tier no doubt.

Swimming is good but you can also do workouts to hit the same muscles swimming does.

I got 20.5” bone to bone or 24” if I measure the meaty parts too. I was a swimmer.
