A more surprising discovery is that there is a strong link between mortality and IQ: higher intelligence means, on average, a longer life. This relationship has been extensively documented by Ian Deary and his colleagues at the University of Edinburgh using data from the Scottish Mental Surveys. In 1932, the Scottish government administered an IQ test to nearly all 11-year old children attending school on a single day. More than sixty years later, focusing on the city of Aberdeen, Deary and colleague Lawrence Whalley set out to identify who from the cohort was still alive, at age 76. The results were striking: a 15-point IQ advantage translated into a 21% greater chance of survival. For example, a person with an IQ of 115 was 21% more likely to be alive at age 76 than a person with an IQ of 100 (the average for the general population).

We traced 2230 (79.9%) of the 2792 subjects tested in schools within Aberdeen city in 1932. On 1 January 1997, 646 men had died, 507 were alive, 247 could not be traced, and 27 were known to have moved from Scotland between 1987 and 1997; 438 women had died, 594 were alive, 315 could not be traced, and 18 had moved from Scotland between 1987 and 1997.

Subjects who died before 1 January 1997 had a significantly lower mean IQ at age 11 years than subjects who were alive or untraced. This effect was also seen when men and women were analysed separately. Overall, untraced subjects had childhood IQs similar to those of subjects who were still alive.

Pair this with the fact that that gl people are more intelligent than subhumans (yeah, I know half of you retards are already typing stale wannabe funny "b-but Chad" one liners), and it's even more over for incels (vast majority of which are pretty dumb).

nah, it's about diseases occurring at a higher rate with low iq people

here we go, unpredictable as always with those basic chad/sex comments . do you guys think you are earning some imaginary points when repeating this stuff 10 years after it got old?

and, actually, smarter people breed more successfuly, since they are, on average, more suited for financial success, gaining status, healthier and more socially adjusted. unless you're gonna pull a strawman and imply high iq automatically equals a 5ft6 asian with an iq of 150

How likely would a 160 IQ individual out live the average person?

more likely that there is a factor A (poor body functionality) that is 1. detrimental to cognitive function and 2. increases risk of diseases/health conditions

but iq measurements are confounded with conformity, which will correlate with risk taking behaviour and hence mortality

what do you mean, that bad health is the primary cause of shorter lifespan here, and that lower intelligence is just another consequence of shitty genes overall? could be, these low tier studies often get causes and consequences mixed up

but the risk taking argument simply doesn't apply. it's not that only gl people smoke or drink (and that's the only such behavior i'd consider relevant here; I doubt the results turned out that way because every lower iq participant died in a hooligan fight or while driving recklessly)
