When I got out of the psych ward years ago and out of the group home I was in I was put in a shitty house by my caseworker. I was making like 500 a month after rent with SSI/SSDI payments and seeing no future with getting laid. If it wasn't for escorts taking my virginity I most definitely would have killed myself.

i get where this mindset comes from because a lot of people feel completely stuck and invisible in this system but saying the answer is just end it is kind of missing something

society is honestly pretty bad at measuring peoples value it mostly rewards money status looks and luck so a lot of decent people end up feeling like failures even when they are not

there are tons of people who had years where they had no friends bad jobs no partner and felt like they didnt belong anywhere and then things slowly changed later not because they were suddenly special but because life situations and environments can shift in weird ways

i think its fair to admit life can be brutal and unfair but acting like some people are just biologically meant to disappear is a really dark way to look at other humans most people struggling are not defective they are just stuck in a bad chapter

freedom is important but real freedom would also include the chance to keep going and see if things can change even if it takes a long time
