(see my previous thread before reading this)
i just got back from the orthodontist. he told me that in order to get a successful bsso/bimax he advised me to get a chin reduction during the surgery cause i got a sharp prominent chin that would stick out if my lower jaw gets shifted forward. the bimax would be to get rid of the protrusion of the front teeth. i’m also seeing my jaw surgeon next month to get some more information on the surgery. the possible options that my orthodontist gave me;
1. do nothing and just cope
2. premolar extraction (definitely not doing this, even tho my orthodontist told me that there’s going to be no bone loss cause they will fill it up with some shit)
3. braces for a year -> bsso/bimax (with possible chin reduction)
i’m going for option 3 but i want some advice on the chin reduction.
